“Sounds of various kinds influence my works. A passing airplane can influence me to change my lines, and even a car horn, or the sound of breaking glass, can shape the forms and patterns of my expressions.
Inner sounds and vibrations, which I can sense and feel, are also expressed through my paintings.
I also get inspired by things, which normally won’t inspire people. For example, when a drain in the street, overflows due to heavy rain, and then the water recedes away, then lots of objects are found littered all around. And once, I saw a couple of bottles on the street, and I had the inspiration to use those bottles to create a landscape!
Often, I paint over completed works, even though some people find them to be good, but I do other works on them.
Both the works, presented here, have been done over previous works, and can be seen as an act of both destruction and creation.”
